Why communications and marketing?
It’s not for the image.
When you wipe away the sheen of glitz and glamour put on the industry by Hollywood (think Entourage) the marcomm industry is, at the core, something much more human.
This industry is my first love because it is all about knowing each other: What makes a person tick, what makes a culture stick, what makes a community rise or crumble, what makes an economy thrive or fall.
It’s not always profit driven and it’s not always altruistic, but marcomm also has the power to take a snapshot of where we are, who we are, and to drive social change.
That’s why I’m here. That’s why I stick to it.
